Organizing Boxes

TIPS

We encourage you to prepare for your move as thoroughly as possible to reduce costs as much as possible.

Your boxes should be sealed, your beds disassembled, and your fridge emptied (if necessary, the door removed)

Before the big day, move as many small items as possible yourself or pack them into boxes.

Clearly label your boxes so that the movers can take them directly where they need to go.

Try to avoid moving between June 22nd and July 3rd as much as possible.

In short, try to be well-prepared for the big day!

Important: Don't forget your small pets; they can't travel in the back of the truck. They could ride with us in the front of the truck if they're well-behaved and not too big.

Moving Checklist

What you need to know

  • Avoid blocking access to your furniture and appliances. We take beds and large pieces first.

  • Can your refrigerator fit through the front door without removing the fridge door? If not, consider disassembling it to save time, or we'd be happy to do it for you.

  • Try to reserve an elevator by making a request to the responsible person.

  • Whenever possible, arrange for parking space for the moving truck during loading and unloading.
